2025-26 COVID-19 Vaccine

The Grundy County Health Department has the newest COVID-19 vaccine available

for 2025-26 for individuals 65 and older or age 18 to 64 with an underlying health condition. The Pfizer vaccine will be given.

The Grundy County Health Department would also like to remind residents that free at-home COVID-19 test kits are available, while supplies last, at the Health Department office, 1716 Lincoln Street in Trenton.

Flu Vaccine

For 2025-2026 flu season a flu vaccination is recommended for everyone over age 6 months. The Grundy County Health Department has flu vaccine for all ages, including the high dose vaccine, for people age 65 and up. GCHD will offer adult flu shots on Fridays beginning on October 3; appointments are accepted but not required. Flu vaccination is also available by appointment on regular immunization days for children or adults.

Individuals should bring their Medicare, Medicaid, or health insurance card for billing purposes.
