Safe Sitter
Safe at Home

Age: Grades 4-6
Cost: $5, includes light snack
Safe at Home is a 90-minute program designed for students in grades 4-6 to prepare them to be safe when they are home alone for short periods of time. Students learn how to practice safe habits, how to prevent unsafe situations, and what to do when faced with dangers such as power failures or weather emergencies.
Class is open to girls or boys in grades four through six.

Safe Sitter

Age: Grades 6-8
Cost: $20, includes lunch and course materials
Safe Sitter is designed to prepare students in grades 6-8 to be safe when they are home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. The course is led by certified instructors and includes practice of rescue skills like CPR and choking rescue.
Class is open to girls or boys in grades six through eight.

Cost: $10, includes coffee and donuts and course materials

Does it feel like lots of things have changed since you raised your own children?
In the Safe Sitter Class for Grandparents you will learn the latest recommendations for care based on physician research studying the physical and emotional development of infants and children. You will also learn updated information on how to safely care for infants and children, tips for managing the behavior of children of all ages, plus life-saving skills such as CPR, choking rescue, first aid, and injury management.

The Grandparents Safe Sitter Class is taught by certified Safe Sitter® Instructors, participants will learn how to provide the best and safest care for their grandchildren.
