Pfizer Vaccine Clinic
The Grundy County Health Department will hold a Pfizer vaccine clinic on Thursday, July 15, 2-6 pm. The Pfizer vaccine is approved for individuals age 12 and up. The clinic is open to all; school-age children who wish to be vaccinated before the start of school are especially encouraged to attend. Pfizer vaccine is a 2-dose series, the second dose is given 21 days after the initial dose. A second dose clinic is planned in August.

Twenty-five percent of Grundy County residents are fully vaccinated.
According to CDC guidelines, fully vaccinated people do not have to quarantine following exposure if they are not symptomatic. Vaccine is available in Grundy County; the Health Department urges all county residents to seek vaccination.
