Vaccine Availability


The Grundy County Health Department has COVID-19 vaccine available, please call (660) 359-4196 for an appointment.


 

Flu Vaccine Available


The Grundy County Health Department has flu vaccine available for all ages on Tuesdays from 10 am to 1 pm and 2-4 pm. No appointment is needed. Vaccine available for all ages, including High Dose vaccine for people 65 and over. Please bring Medicare, Medicaid, or private insurance card for billing purposes. Donations will be accepted for individuals who are uninsured.


 

Pediatric Pfizer


  • Approved for children age 5-11

  • Smaller, age-appropriate dose

  • 2 shot series, 21 days apart



 

Booster Dose Information


Pfizer-BioNTech

  • Teens 16-17 are eligible for a Pfizer booster

  • Adults 18 years and older should get a booster (any of the COVID-19 vaccines authorized in the U.S.)

  • Boosters should be given at least 6 months after your second shot


 


Moderna

  • Adults 18 years and older should get a booster (any of the COVID-19 vaccines authorized in the U.S.) at least 6 months after your second shot


 

Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen

  • Adults 18 years and older should get a booster (any of the COVID-19 vaccines authorized in the U.S.) at least 2 months after your initial shot
