Solar Eclipse Glasses Available

In case you haven't heard, next month's solar eclipse is going to be a very big deal! The last time we had a total solar eclipse in North America was 1979, maybe you weren't even born, maybe you owned a leisure suit.

Grundy County is just north of the 70-mile-wide band that will experience optimal viewing but you don't have to go very far too see the total eclipse.

Here's a few links to get you started:

Although it's exciting, observers should not look directly at the eclipse without protective eyewear. The Grundy County Health Department has a limited supply of free solar eclipse glasses for Grundy County residents. Stop in and get a pair.
